May 2011:

Dr. Ferraioli presented a program about dental health and how to properly care for their teeth and gums to the international students at the Sisters of Charity Convent in Mendham.  Many of the students had never been taught the proper way to brush their teeth.  These students will be returning to their countries, and are expected to be leaders in their communities.  They will be instructing others on what they learned while here.

April 2011:

Dr. Derrick returned with a dozen of his little league teammates on April 16th to throw out the first pitch of the new 2011 National Little League season at Burnham Park in Morristown.  He threw out the first pitch of the opening game for the Rotary Royals to start the first game ever of the Morristown National Little League in May 1951.  Teammates on hand Saturday included Ed Butera, who along with his wife, Gale, had a brunch at their home in Morristown after the Burnham Park ceremony.  Steve Hoskins, who travelled down from Cape Cod, along with Ed and Dr. Derrick, helped to organize the reunion.

Feb. 2011:

In conjunction with February being Dental Health Month, Dr. Ferraioli traveled to a local day care to present our program on dental health to pre-school aged children. Dr. Ferraioli and the children had a great time.

Nov. 2010:

For over 20 years Drs. Derrick and Ferraioli have invited the local pre-schools to the office to learn what to expect when they visit a dentist. The children learn about eating healthy foods, how to brush and care for their teeth, and they also have the chance to sit in the dental chair and go for a ride.

The children have a great time, and it is always a fantastic experience for us as well. We look forward to doing this every year.
